This course consists of 1 free trial lesson + 9 classes for a total of 10 classes
Fees: $225 +HST
Course Outline: No prior knowledge of Italian required to take this course, just a love of the language. Through a a host of multimedia resources and interactive activities, you will learn basic vocabulary, Italian sound system and sentence structure - the basic notions underpinning the Italian language.
All of our classes are based on the SCI method - Supportive, Comprehensive, Integrated.
To learn Italian and to feel comfortable speaking you need to engage with the language in as many different ways as possible. Speaking, listening, reading and studying grammar points are the basic building blocks, but in our experience your brain takes the language in better the more context it has. That's why immersive experiences like our social events, or cooking classes in Italian or our trips to Italy are all part and parcel of your learning with us
Course Outcome: At the end of this course you'll be able to greet people, making yourself understood and engage in simple conversation like talking about your plans, talking about the weather, making reservation and asking for information.
The Virtual Cook-along Sessions will be scheduled during the weekends based on students availability
Cancellation Policy: Classes can be cancelled up to 2 weeks before the start date. After that point, if a student can no longer attend their course, no refund will be issued.

Fees: $250 + HST
Drawing on what you learned in Absolute Beginners, you will expand on your vocabulary and your knowledge of verbs. You will learn about potere dovere e volere, possessives, adjectives and simple prepositions. You will also learn about the simple past, reflexives verbs and direct object pronouns.

Course Outline: Drawing on what you learned in our Beginners courses, this course will take your Italian from basic to a place where you can converse more easily and start to understand more advanced grammar and expressions. You will continue to expand on your vocabulary and your knowledge of verbs.
You will also learn about the conditional, imperfect, reflexives verbs in the past, and indirect object pronouns.

Course Outcome: By the end of this courses you will have learned the structure and vocabulary allowing you to discuss more complicated situations like what you did on the weekend; your vacation plans; hopes and aspirations; the news and to describe a recent film or book you liked.
